By booking services with Sweet Fuss Hair & Makeup Artistry ("Sweet Fuss," "we," "us," or "our"), whether through our website (sweetfuss.com), phone, email, or any booking platform, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book our services.
Sweet Fuss provides professional on-location and in-studio hair and makeup artistry services, including but not limited to:
• Bridal hair and makeup (trials and day-of services)
• Wedding party beauty services
• Sweet Touch Assistance (extended on-site touch-up services)
• Special event styling
• Commercial and editorial services (as available)
All services are customized to each client's needs. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after consultation and may vary based on specific requirements, location, and event details.
• Initial inquiry and consultation
• Written proposal via HoneyBook or similar platform
• Signed service agreement
• Payment of retainer to secure date
• Trial/preview session scheduling (if applicable)
• Final service delivery
Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of:
• Signed service agreement
• Required retainer payment
• Any additional documentation requested
• Client must provide at least 30 days' notice for any scheduling changes
• Changes are subject to availability
• Rush bookings (less than 30 days' notice) may incur additional fees
• All services are quoted on a custom basis
• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
• Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed
• Retainer: Due upon booking to secure date (typically 50% of total)
• Balance: Due 14 days before service date unless otherwise agreed
• Payment methods accepted will be specified in service agreement
• Travel is charged at $1.00 per mile from our Downtown Long Beach studio (195 E. 4th Street #14, Long Beach, CA 90802)
• Additional travel expenses (parking, tolls) may apply and will be disclosed in advance
Any services requested beyond the original agreement will be charged separately and require prior approval.
• More than 90 days before event: Full refund minus $100 administrative fee
• 60-90 days before event: 50% refund of payments made
• 30-59 days before event: 25% refund of payments made
• Less than 30 days: No refund (retainer and payments are non-refundable)
If Sweet Fuss must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances:
• We will make every effort to provide a qualified replacement artist
• If no replacement is available, full refund will be issued
• Sweet Fuss's liability is limited to the amount paid by client
• Client must disclose any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities before services
• Sweet Fuss is not liable for allergic reactions to standard professional cosmetics
• Patch tests are available upon request at least 48 hours before service
Sweet Fuss's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services. Sweet Fuss is not responsible for: staining of clothing/linens from cosmetics, individual skin/hair reactions to professional products, results varying from trial due to skin/hair condition changes, or weather-related effects on hair and makeup.
